Though its been around for many years, Pallas Projects has had a bit of a nomadic existence: the gallery and studio has moved between several different Dublin area codes in the last few years. Now, following its most recent stint on Lower Dominick Street, the project has upped sticks and settled for good in Dublin 8’s The Coombe. To celebrate their new home, and raise funds for the exhibition program set to fill the spacious ground-floor level, Pallas are throwing a party (and everyone’s invited).

With fine beers from Against the Grain, visuals from Alan Butler and John Buckley, and live music from the likes of Swords, Greta Gunn and Nanu Nanu (as well as a barbeque in the courtyard, for any stomachs in need of filling) ‘Running in the Hall’ is set to be a night of splendid entertainment in a studio setting. On top of the stellar line-up, it’s actually worth popping down just for a sneak preview of the space itself: in an ex-school building (some of the blackboards remain) just opposite the bottom of Francis Street, the new Pallas site overlooks a somewhat unknown Dublin lake, as well as the nestling family of city foxes on the other side of the bank. Awww.

The event kicks off from 6:30pm on Saturday 26th May. €10 entry, with all contributions going towards the Pallas Projects exhibition programme. View the Facebook event.
