Venus Fly Trap
‘Venus Fly Trap’ is an image from my ‘Reprocessing Realities’ series, an ongoing series over the past two years. In this series, I attempt to change the way I look at portraits through mixed media and photoshop editing. Through doing this I hope to change the way in which we can look at portraits by use of editing.
‘Venus Fly Trap’ came about on a shoot with London based artist SBK. While walking through east London I wanted to find a way to incorporate the grills he was wearing as the forefront of the portrait and thought that this edit was the best way of doing that.
