Sundays are devoted to music at the Hugh Lane with a special concert series entitled Sundays at Noon. The series moves to 1pm for a St Patrick’s Day concert on Sunday March 17th, with Neil Ó Loclainn on double bass and flute and Ultan O’Brien on fiddle and viola, as they perform a set featuring new and existing work. A lively session is in store as the longtime collaborators meld traditional Irish music and jazz, perfect for the day that’s in it.

The series returns to its regular time slot on Sun March 24th, when audiences can enjoy another great installment of the fantastic Dublin Song Series curated by siblings Dearbhla and Finghin Collins.

Meanwhile, the bustling Fáilte Le Grá café welcomes visitors to the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square for a light breakfast or lunch, with a tempting selection of delicious baked goods available throughout the day.

The café is open daily from 10.30am to 4pm, and if you’re lucky enough to time your visit on one of Dublin’s warmer spring days, the outdoor dining area offers the perfect escape from the bustling city streets outside.
