The blues rock messiah returns to our shores to play the O2 as part of a worldwide stadium tour. He’ll be showcasing songs from his critically lauded debut solo effort, the delectably titled Blunderbuss, as well as dipping into his back catalogue of Raconteurs, Dead Weather and White Stripes hits. Thankfully, Meg won’t be accompanying him.
White recently threw a hissy fit and left the stage after 45 minutes at a gig in New York, citing “bad audience response” as the reason. All the more reason to give it socks and ensure he doesn’t throw a strop.
