For us one of the highlights of the Dublin summer involves catching the last of the evening rays, with a refreshing sundowner in hand, down at Charlotte Quay.

The convivial waterside restaurant boasts no less than two fabulous outdoor terraces, making it an ideal spot to relax and watch the world go by, while checking out the antics of the local otter.

There’s also a spectacular selection of sharing plates and mains to choose from, with tasty Crispy Squid with Chilli, Lemon and Aioli just one of many incredible choices on the lovely seasonal menu there.

Perfect paired with a crisp organic white wine, or a cooling margarita made to order, as summer pleasures go, it’s up there with the best.

Tues to Fri 4:00pm – close; Brunch served Sat & Sun 12:00pm – 3.30pm. Dinner until late. Last orders from the kitchen 9.45pm.
