Following on from last year’s ‘The Smoke Clears’ multi-talented Cork man John Daly returns to Dublin’s All City Records under his West 2 West alias with a compilation of ethereal MPC work outs.
The results are as enjoyable as one would expect from an artist as versatile as Daly: drenched in atmosphere and lush pads, the LP exhibits the producer’s hip-hop sensibilities transposed with the more cosmic end of his melodic palette.
The results: a blissfully absorbing finished product.
