How Did We Get So Dark? sees Royal Blood continue to do what they do best; create filthy, riff driven rock anthems.
Each track, as heavy as the last, possesses punchy bass riffs and pounding drums with no time for fillers.
Mike Kerr’s vocals are instantly recognisable, his use of dynamics and his wide vocal range are an integral part of the band’s sound.
Similar to their previous efforts, it will be interesting to see where the band go from here.
