With the October Bank Holiday on the way and the possibility of a quick break down the country on the misty horizon, there are plenty of Halloween treats in store for those who make the journey to lovely Leitrim at the end of this month.
Visitors will find a packed schedule on offer at The Shed Distillery this weekend, as the home of Gunpowder Gin, Sausage Tree Vodka and Drumshanbo Pot Still Irish Whiskey hosts a special long weekend edition of Tails and Tapas on Saturday 24th, and a Pumpkin inspired version of their Paint and Pour series featuring live music by Shane Cranogue on Sunday 25th.

In addition to running tours of the distillery, visitors can still find some special edition ‘Year of The Horse’ bottles of Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin squirreled away in their Curious Gift Shop, alongside an eclectic collection of copper tankards and other memorabilia.
There’s also plenty of local sustenance to be enjoyed in their onsite Jackalope café, with facilities there open seven days a week.
Details of tours with tickets and times can be found on their website.
