It’s great to see the effervescent Polish Wine Festival celebrating their 5th birthday in style in The Stables at The Fumbally this weekend.
This year sees the festival hosting over a dozen wineries and showcasing in excess of seventy wines from Polish vineyards.
With makers such as Dom Janton and Winnica Kamil Barczentewicz in attendance, festival goers will have a chance to savour some of Poland’s finest examples of viticulture, while hearing something of the stories behind the labels.

As with previous events, in addition to offering lots of opportunities to taste and test a multiplicity of styles, the afternoon festival also treats Dublin’s wine-lovers to a delicious taste of Polish culture and food courtesy of Rustic Boowa.
There’ll also be a selection of traditional dumplings from blogger @smaczne_go, while the crew from Sea Shanty Blackrock will also be on hand with a lovely selection of oysters designed to pair nicely with most of the wines on offer.
With tunes provided by DJ Emmy Shigeta, this promises to be a very salubrious way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Zdrówko!

12pm to 6pm, Sunday March 29th. Tickets from €22 via Eventbrite.
