Bewley’s is marking International Women’s Day weekend with a thoughtful double bill of talks and hands-on creativity, served with excellent coffee.
On Saturday March 7th (1–2pm), the iconic café in Grafton Street hosts Now What?, an open, practical conversation for students, soon-to-be grads and creatives thinking about flirting with freelance life.
Expect honest insights on photography, art direction and creative practice from photographer Arann McCormack and artist Nicole Holbrook, both of whom know a thing or two about navigating the freelance maze.

The following day, on International Women’s Day itself, things get tactile with Soft Resistance, a feminist zine-making workshop led by artist Lily Breslin. Think collage, image-making and quiet acts of creative rebellion.
Both events are part of Bewley’s Presents at Bewley’s Grafton Street. The events take place on Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th.
