Fishamble has announced its 2026 programme and it’s looking pretty special.

Among many highlights all five of the Pat Kinevane one-man plays (Forgotten, Silent, Underneath, Before and King) will tour in spring, starting at English Theatre Berlin before hitting Offaly, Clare, Limerick, Wicklow and Tallaght.

Refuge by Deirdre Kinahan is a new co-production between Fishamble and Staatstheatre Mainz in German, with a world premiere in Germany before performing Lime Tree Theatre in Limerick and Pavilion Theatre in Dublin.

Eva O’Connor’s new play For Dolores will come to Limerick, Galway and Dublin before running at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre‘s Travfest26 in August.

Fishamble is also commissioning 10 writers, six from public open call and four pre-selected, to create short plays investigating marginalisation and healthy equity while also continuing partnering with Larkin Community College for a second round of the Who am I? and How am I? initiative, allowing students to understand identity and belonging through the theatre.
