The much-anticipated Ballybough & North Strand Festival of History returns this autumn as part of the genius that is Dublin Festival of History 2025, with a packed programme of talks, walking tours, exhibitions, and special events celebrating the unique stories of Dublin’s north inner city.

Running from 26th September – 12th October, the festival invites audiences to discover the area’s rich cultural past — from football heroes and famine journeys to legendary musicians, actors, and political figures.
