King Krule

The OOZ

[True Panther / XL]

Archy Marshall’s third studio album – and second under the moniker King Krule – is delivered in typical laid-back style as Marshall experiments with space as much as sound.

The result is an album of deep sea jazz for whales that broods between the emotionally raw (‘Lonely Blue’) and the sophisticated (‘Logos’).

These explorations that take place over 19 tracks will be too much for some, but give it the time, and the depth will pay off.
