The overall winner of the inaugural Irish Street Food Awards was unveiled at the BeatYard Fest last month, and the winner proved to be a dark horse indeed.

Dundalk based Dark Horse Pizza beat off stiff competition to win the title, going on to represent Ireland at the European Street Food finals in Berlin this month.

The brainchild of Oisin Coyle and Zoe Worden, the award-winning vegan sourdough pizzas are cooked on a wood-fired oven and come with a delicious variety of fresh, seasonal toppings, all prepared and served via their specially converted horsebox.
