If you believe that the luck of the Irish is well on your side, then why not explore the famous city of Dublin? When you do, you will soon find that there is so much for you to do and that there are also plenty of venues for you to visit as well. If you want to find out more simply take a look below.

Visit the Iconic Temple Venue

The Temple Bar is one of the most iconic venues in the whole of Dublin. Tourists choose to go there from all across the world. If you are looking to visit a casino then you may be out of luck. There aren’t many gambling establishments nearby but you can always play at an online casino. Stick with the Temple Bar – the history of this venue dates all the way back to the 1300s. It’s very popular because of the red exterior and it’s in a fantastic location as well. It’s in the heart of the city and it is a massive part of the nightlife scene for the city. There are live shows and so much for you to do.

Visit the Restored Cathedral

This is easily one of the most stunning and beautiful venues in the whole city. When you hear the name, The Church, you probably wouldn’t assume that it is a bar. The Church was once called St. Mary’s but it closed in 1964. It was then restored into a venue that runs the entire length of the church. It comes with booths and even a selection of tables. You also have a very small stage which is used for bands to play traditional Irish music. This is open every Friday and Saturday. The resident DJ there plays all of the latest tracks so if you want a fun musical night out, then you won’t be disappointed if you visit this location. You can find more information on the website.

Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral

This cathedral was founded in 1191 and it’s the biggest church in the whole of Ireland. It’s said that this location is where St. Patrick baptised thousands of Christian converts well over 1500 years ago. This isn’t the only Cathedral in the city though. You also have the Christ Church cathedral as well. Visitors can easily go inside, and they can enjoy the interior of the church, if you visit between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

Fish and Chips At Leo Burdocks

You cannot simply leave Dublin without trying fish and chips. One place stands out above everything else and it’s a restaurant called Leo Burdocks. It’s a very traditional location and they even have a Wall of Fame notice board outside. This showcases all of the visits that they have had from local celebrities and politicians too. The Burdocks have been around since 1913 and it has been passed from generation to generation. They served up piping hot food throughout all of the World Wars and this helped them to gain a lot of popularity. They also continued to work during the uprising which happened in 1916. When this happened, Ireland then was able to gain their independence so that they could operate separately from Britain. Of course, all of this has really made a huge difference to their popularity and it has also cemented their legacy as well. No trip to Ireland would be complete without a visit to this location so make sure that you write it down for your next trip.
