Dublin’s most recognisable skyline has a fresh look, so does RetróEire. As the Poolbeg Chimneys received their newly painted red strips this summer, Dublin artist Kate Swift has re-imagined the city’s iconos in print with the Poolbeg Towers Red Edition.

Hand-drawn and hand-printed in collaboration with One Strong Arm, the limited edition artwork celebrates a landmark that signals home for generations of Dubliners.

Speaking about the brand, Kate tells us that, “The idea for RetróEire began far from home, when I was living in New Zealand and missing Ireland. One day I designed a print of the Poolbeg Chimneys to bring a little piece of Dublin into my space.”

“RetróEire is for anyone who feels that pull of home. Each artwork re-imagines Irish icons with clean design, blending nostalgia with a modern twist. It’s my way of celebrating Ireland’s landmarks, everyday objects and stories, and sharing them with people.”

She adds; “We create contemporary prints that celebrate Ireland’s story. Our designs are made to spark nostalgia, whether you’re living abroad and missing home, or simply want a piece of Ireland on your walls. Each artwork is designed and printed in Ireland, blending hand-drawn craft with modem style. RetróEire is more that artwork, it’s Irish memories, framed.”
