With recent figures indicating that Oakberry’s flagship store on South Anne Street is the brand’s top performing in Europe, it’s safe to say that Ireland is now firmly in its açaí era.
The Californian specialists, who pride themselves on managing every step from berry to bowl, have just dropped a tasty new topping that sees Hazelnut Choco Cream bringing serious dollops of flavour and protein to their signature bowls.
Made with a smooth hazelnut base, zero added sugar and a tidy 7.4g of protein per serving, we’re told that it pairs particularly well with banana, strawberries and cacao granola.
The indulgent new topping is now available as a layer on the brand’s açaí bowls, across all fourteen of its Irish stores, with franchise holders Nick Twomey and Cian O’Donoghue beavering away behind the scenes on plans to add another four spots to the mix before the end of the year.
