Having launched Alma back in 2019, the past few weeks have seen the Parisi family opening a second outlet on Dublin’s South Circular Road.
They tell us that new spot Around The Corner is “an easy neighbourhood stop where you can meet someone, read a bit, sit by the window, or grab something on your way home.”
The simple menu features a decent selection of breads and tasty toasties, with bevvies including coffee from Two Fifty Square, Fierce Mild beer, and juices from Cold Pressed kings, Green Beards.
Future plans include a series of rotating specials and monthly collabs, but for now, “the idea is to keep it consistent and comfortable, somewhere you know you can always drop by.”
No bookings, no table service. Order at the counter, grab a seat, or stand outside and tuck in.
