Out in Kilmacud, local hostelry O’Dwyer’s is continuing to keep things interesting on the drinks front by introducing a Gin, Whiskey and Rotational Tap of the month.
At time of writing they were encouraging regulars to try a Beara Black Cask Blend Irish Whiskey or a drop of Inis Cléire Irish Gin, while their featured Rotational Tap offered a chance to swap out a pint of the black stuff for a gorgeous Connemara Black Irish Stout.
The boozer also boasts its own neighbourhood eatery with Scott’s Restaurant currently serving up some first rate fare upstairs.

In addition to Chilli Prawns and Risottos, the series of tempting specials on offer includes dishes such as Slow Cooked Monkfish, Prawns, Gnocchi, Cherry Tomatoes and Spinach with a white cream sauce.
Add in a regular Tuesday night pub quiz, and one wonders why you’d ever bother leaving the ‘burb.
