Clear your calendars – German Doner Kebab (GDK) touches down in Ireland for the very first time on Monday December 1st, opening at Liffey Valley with the kind of fanfare only a cult-favourite kebab brand can pull off.
They’re dishing up free food and designer-adjacent merch plus 100 free kebabs a day, Monday to Friday, in addition to limited-edition tote bags for the early birds.
We’re told that GDK isn’t your 3am nostalgia kebab at Iskander’s on Dame Street. Instead it comes with freshly grilled lean meats, their signature toasted waffle bread, and sauces that deserve their own IG account.

From the stacked OG Kebab to the Boss Box to their famous Doner Boxes, everything comes hot, fresh, and made-to-order for kebab lovers looking for flavour and fuel.
With 30 Irish stores on the horizon it looks like GDK is firmly planting roots here. Promising big flavour, and the tagline “kebabs done right’, they tell us that Dublin’s new kebab era starts now.
Let’s see how they stand up to our old favourites at Zaytoon.
