We’re big fans of Folláin’s Gift of Home campaign which sees the award-winning Irish brand supporting the work of The Simon Communities of Ireland by donating a generous 50% of proceeds from all online sales between Nov 1st and Dec 31st.

This is the fourth year of their seasonal campaign combining thoughtful gifting with social impact. This year the campaign coincides with the launch of Follain’s Christmas online gift shop, featuring a range of festive boxes packed with a stunning selection of jams and preserves, perfect for gifts and festive tables.

It is clear that the initiative comes at a really critical time. As the latest figures show  that16,353 men, women, and children were living in emergency accommodation in August 2025. Of these figures, 5,145 are children, meaning that the need for services such as those provided by Simon has never been greater.

In the face of this grim situation, Mícheál Ó Lionáird, Managing Director of Folláin, tells us that, “We’re asking our customers to help us make this our biggest year yet for Simon. Every order, every gift box, every small act of generosity adds up to something powerful – a real, tangible difference for people who need it most.”

He adds that, “At Folláin, home is at the heart of everything we do – it’s where good food, care, and community come together. Supporting The Simon Communities of Ireland feels like a very natural partnership for us, because everyone deserves that same sense of belonging.”

Echoing that sentiment, Ber Grogan, CEO of The Simon Communities of Ireland said, “The funds raised through this campaign will not only provide immediate, practical help—shelter, food, and vital frontline services across Cork, Galway, the Mid West, Midlands and South East—but also strengthen our policy and advocacy work to end long-term homelessness in Ireland. It is heartening to see a company and its customers come together with such compassion and solidarity, and we cannot thank them enough for the real difference they are making.”

This year’s range includes The 12 Days of Christmas Preserves consisting of twelve surprise preserves to savour in the lead-up to Christmas, and their signature 3 Jar Collections – The Cheeseboard Collection and The Christmas Preserve Collection, both of whoch cost €10.00. There’s also their 6 Jar Christmas Preserve Gift Box – a festive larder staple, ideal for Christmas hosts and food lovers alike, and a beautifully packaged 6 jar Cheese Pairing Gift Box.

A new addition this year is 12 Days of Cheese Pairings – twelve cheery relish and chutney mini pots, the perfect accompaniment to festive cheeseboards.

The very affordable selection of gifts range in price from €10 to €25.

Please support if you can.
