We’ve been leafing our way through the colourful Cookbook Collection at Designist, where the powerhouse of remarkable gifts and bright ideas carries some cool reads for those keen to build their own culinary library at home.
Classics include One Pot One Planet, a useful tome by Anna Jones that comes crammed with loads of ideas for ‘a greener way to cook for you, your family, and the planet’ and Store Cupboard Genius, which boasts ‘200 Clever Recipes to Transform your Forgotten Ingredients’.
New additions include the recently published Scéal, in which Greystones bakers Charlotte Leonard Kane and Shane Palmer present seasonal recipes and stories from a modern Irish bakery, with some gorgeous images shot by Shantanu Starick and styled by Kitty Coles and Cissy Dunford.
The treasure trove on South Great Georges also carries a nice selection of totes for all that newly acquired literary loot.
