Bitesize: Terre X Library Street

Posted 2 days ago in Food & Drink Features

Later this month a very special evening in the relaxed and intimate environs of Library Street offers Dublin’s diners a fascinating insight into the kind of culinary magic Lewis Barker is currently weaving at award-winning Cork restaurant Terre.

Having earned his stripes in kitchens as far-flung as Australia and Singapore, the globe-trotting chef took up the Executive Chef role at the restaurant on the Castlemartyr Estate a year ago, successfully retaining its much coveted two Michelin stars in his first six months there.

Having won his first Michelin star in Singapore at the tender age of 27, his much-anticipated April visit to Dublin sees the well-travelled Yorkshireman channelling all that international edge into something rooted firmly in Irish soil.

He’ll be serving up a multi-sensory menu showcasing his signature precision and layered, flavour-led cooking via a tightly choreographed four-course menu.

Limited tickets for the event which kicks off at 6.30pm on Monday April 27th, including a chance to go all in with a very nice wine pairing for an additional €79, are available via Eventbrite priced €150 + booking fee.
