Knock in next door, pull out a chair and pass the potato salad… Street Feast returns on the weekend of May 23rd to 24th, once again turning strangers into neighbours, one shared table at a time.
Now in its 16th year, the annual nationwide weekend of street parties and local get-togethers is all about making low-effort, high-reward connections.
Last year saw 88,000 people take part and having recently secured new backing from Tesco Ireland, organisers are aiming even higher this year.

The festival’s patron President Catherine Connolly, is encouraging households everywhere to get involved “to strengthen communities through the simple act of sharing a meal”.
As usual hosting is a refreshingly simple process – register, get a free party pack including bunting and invites, and gather your neighbours for a few hours of food, chats and easy-going craic.
The payoff? Real-life connection in an increasingly online world.
Every little helps.
