Their perennially popular Wine and Cheese Festival takes place at The Bernard Shaw on the weekend of August 10th, where there’s some serious quaffing and uncorking to enjoy, in addition to a Drag Brunch, a spinning cheese wheel, and a Tipsy Quiz.
A tenner secures entry and a glass of wine, with lots of interesting cheeses and wines to enjoy throughout the weekend. Sure wine not?
These festivities will no sooner have concluded than preparations get underway for the following weekend’s Eatyard Crisp Fest, where competitive lovers of the tasty snack can look forward to participating in blind crisp tasting contests and a DIY Crisp Sambo competition, with plenty of musical entertainment from a variety of bands and DJs also on the menu.
Installations include an old school tuck shop featuring a range of retro classics, with rumours of an attack of the Meanies also on the cards. Tickets cost €10 and include a pint and a pack of crisps of your choice on arrival.
