Following Best Independent Irish Film win at the Galway Film Fleadh, Break Out Pictures are set to release Girls & Boys across Irish cinemas from this Friday, September 19th.
The Irish financed film tells the story of rugby player Jace meeting aspiring filmmaker Charlie at a college party. Both attend Trinity, but their worlds couldn’t be more different—Charlie is trans, her circle full of queer artists and creatives, while Jace sticks with the more straight-laced camaraderie of his rugby teammates.
A tender, funny, and quietly radical romantic comedy, Girls & Boys was written and directed by Donncha Gilmore and produced by Gearóid Gilmore.
In cinemas citywide from September 19th.
