Creativity On Tap – Dublin Fringe X Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Posted 1 hour ago in Dublin Fringe Festival

Expect big laughs later this month as the experimental spirit at the heart of a Dublin 8 brewery collides with some of Ireland’s brightest comedic talent for a second year running.

Entitled Creativity on Tap, the craic-filled initiative sees Dublin Fringe Festival and Guinness Open Gate Brewery teaming up once again for two intimate nights of Irish comedy this September, as they bring Creativity on Tap back to Dublin 8.

First up, on Tuesday 15 September, smash-hit comedian and bestselling author Emma Doran takes the mic for one of her most intimate Dublin gigs, joined by Erin McGathy and Rachel Galvo.

Then on Wednesday 16 September, Galway’s Aoife Dunne brings her sharp storytelling and comedy to the brewery, alongside Stephen Colfer and Shane Clifford.

Speaking about the initiative, Bee Sparks, Festival Director of Dublin Fringe Festival, said, “We’re thrilled to be bringing Creativity on Tap back to Guinness Open Gate Brewery for a second year. Guinness Open Gate Brewery is an incredible space to work in, and its spirit of experimentation makes it a really natural home for Dublin Fringe Festival. These intimate nights give audiences a completely different way to experience the festival, while creating space for artists to do something a little different in the city. We can’t wait to be back at the brewery.”

Comedy, craic and a few good beers? Count us in!
