If your shelves are crying out for something handmade, point yourself towards Mill Street this weekend as Throwing Shapes’ Autumn Ceramics Market returns to Dublin 8 with 34 ceramic artists and potters from across Ireland, bringing a glorious jumble of contemporary clay to the city.
Expect everything from beautiful tableware and everyday pieces to decorative and sculptural work, with established names rubbing shoulders with emerging makers and Throwing Shapes studio members.
Creative ceramacists including Marta Ozog, Tatiana Smith-St Kitts, Vinh Truong, An Gee Chan, Dylan Jordan and Stephen Richardson are among the artists taking part on the day.
It’s not just about shopping, either. Come along to meet the makers, discover new talent and soak up the creative community spirit that has made previous markets such a draw.
Fable Bakery, Cornershop Coffee and The Garden will also be on hand with some great refreshments, making it a lovely way to spend and Autumn Saturday afternoon.
