The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released 20 years ago and it’s not an overstatement to rank it as one of the finest debut albums ever. It still sounds fresh and relevant and as Adele says “an honest representation of love and life”. It was to be the only solo studio record of The Fugees star. It’s also fair to say that this tour has been patchy at times with delays, cancellations and Ms Hill discarding the likes of Santigold and Nas from support slots. You pay your money, you take your chances.
