We loved the story of the generous six grand tip left by the Country Singer/Songwriter Zach Bryan following his visit to The Celt Bar in Talbot Street earlier this summer.

Meanwhile over in Smithfield, Shay and the team at the Hacienda hosted Jarvis Cocker and Pulp following their first Dublin gig in thirty-two years.

Whatever about the tip that night, judging by his Instagram post the following day, Jarvis clearly enjoyed himself.

Dublin – you were legendary last night! You sang, you cheered, you clapped (in time) – and you chose ‘Dishes’ in the Audience Choice vote at the end of the intermission.

And then you took us to an amazing bar after the show… You were hardcore.”

If only we’d all met up in the year 2000.
