From August 8–10, the Howth Roots and Blues Festival brings a weekend of live music to the picturesque village of Howth. With over 30 free gigs across pubs and outdoor stages, festival goers can enjoy blues, country, Americana, ska, and Afrobeat without needing a ticket.
Headline acts at The Abbey Tavern include Mundy, Muireann Bradley, Susan O’Neill, and Rob Strong, while The Summit Inn hosts themed nights like “Guitar Legends” and “Women in Blues.”
With performances by Irish and international artists, and venues offering scenic beer gardens and stages, the festival blends world-class music with a relaxed, seaside atmosphere.
