SUMMARY:Beacons - Daragh Muldowney
DESCRIPTION:Photographer Daragh Muldowney has been travelling to Lake Baikal\, Siberia\, the largest freshwater lake on the planet\, for the past three years. He has been compiling work for his latest exhibition which documents his many trips to this alluring area of breath-taking natural beauty\, creating stunning images that illustrate the immense attraction of the ice there and the small trees that mark out the road traversing the frozen lake. \nLake Baikal is one of the most biodiverse places on earth as it is home to thousands of species of plants and animals\, many of which are endemic to the region. In winter\, temperatures drop as low as -40°C and the lake becomes a vast frozen plain. Crossing the lake can be a hazardous journey as the ice comes under huge pressure causing it to either break apart exposing the frigid water below or crush together creating large jagged hummocks. To help travellers across the ice\, the locals mark out an ice road by drilling holes and planting small pine trees that act as markers\, ‘beacons’ guiding the way. \nPhotographing this ancient road system was a fascinating experience for Muldowney in many ways and he feels that his documentation of this unusual and unique way of life is a beautiful human story that also highlights the immense natural beauty of Lake Baikal. \nRuns until June 18 (viewing by appointment only from Monday to Friday\, 9am to 5.30pm)

SUMMARY:Carlos Pesudo - Zero Space
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition\, which presents painting and video work\, has as its interest in what happens in the most immediate and hermetic reality of the creation space. Carlos Pesudo uses the figure of the egg or “zero space” as a metaphor for the isolation in which he finds himself in his studio\, where he works around listening to the minimum or the most elemental. In such scenario\, the artist asks the following question: what happens\, or how do things happen in a place where nothing happens? This is a collaboration with the Herrero De Tejada in Madrid.  View the exhibition.

SUMMARY:Beasts - Gerard Byrne
DESCRIPTION:‘Beasts‘\, a series of black-and-white\, silver gelatin photographs was shot inside the Biologiska museet\, Stockholm\, a museum which housed a 360-degree diorama depicting a panoramic sweep of the Nordic wilderness\, in an elaborate mise-en-scène combining taxidermy with a painted backdrop. The museum remained almost unchanged between 1893 and its unexpected closure midway through Byrne’s production\, in 2017. \nThe artist’s interest in the museum was first inspired by the peculiar visual appearance of the diorama\, which is illuminated solely by natural light entering from roof skylights. For Gerard Byrne\, this dependence on daylight blurred the distinction between museum and camera. With its skylights functioning as lens aperture and its diorama of taxidermy animals poised in frozen photographic stasis\, the Biologiska Museet appeared proto-photographic\, it’s diorama a foreshadow of the Photograph itself. ‘Beasts’ is testament to in-animation; each print pictures the carefully poised relationship between photography and deadness. \nByrne also made a film inside the diorama\, ‘Jielemeguvvie guvvie sjisjnjeli’ (Film Inside an Image) 2015-2016. Presented as a Single Channel film and back projected onto a sculptural environment the work is played on a continuous loop. Byrne’s film takes us on a sweeping\, never-ending journey though the 360 degree diorama of the Biologiska museet in Stockholm. The unsettling experience is amplified by the accompanying sound track\, a multi-layerd cacophony of animal calls\, bird songs and various other sounds of the wild.

SUMMARY:Pandemme
DESCRIPTION:Pandemme is a pop-up exhibition of contemporary art opened in response to the Covid pandemic. The closure of local shop Emme during the summer  saddened the close-knit community around Dublin 6. Now local artists will occupy the space at 36 Dunville and transform it into Pandemme\, a gallery to showcase their recent work.  Come and meet the artists and learn about their work: Monika Crowley\, Margot Galvin (lead image)\, Mary O’Connor\, Serena Caulfield\, Dan Henson\, and jewellery designer Suzanne Rogers. \n‘Whilst some shows are lucky to have gone ahead this year\, others have closed as soon as they opened. Galleries have done a great job in using social media to keep our work out there\, but with restrictions lifting this week we’re hoping the community take the opportunity to come and meet us  and help support the arts’ says Crowley\, ‘but more than that\, it’s our opportunity to shake off the uncertainty and anxiety of 2020 and give two fingers to the pandemic”. \nPandemme is open on 36 Dunville Avenue until Christmas Eve\, from 9am-6pm daily \n\nMary O’Connor \n \nSuzanne Rogers \nMonika Crowley \n \nDaniel Henson \n \nSerena Caulfield

SUMMARY:The Nose Knows: Mark McGreevy
DESCRIPTION:In the first in a new series of solo presentations moving away from historical buildings to contemporary industrial settings\, Berlin Opticians Gallery presents The Nose Knows – a solo exhibition by invited artist Mark McGreevy. \nMcGreevy’s paintings are known for their texture and vibrancy of colour. In this exhibition his palette is full of pinks\, reds\, bright blues and greens. \nMark McGreevy\, The nose knows\, 2016\, Oil on canvas\, artist’s frame\, 70 x 90 cm\nThe colours are often applied in blocks that occupy separate\, designated areas\, as if the paint brush followed the lines of a colouring book\, a territory previously scribbled in with a crayon. There is a determination to his painterly gesture: the brushstrokes read as thick and expressive. \nMark McGreevy\, Shrink wrap for small pieces\, 2015-2019\, Oil on canvas\, artist’s frame\, 120 x 150 cm\, installation shot\nThe world portrayed by McGreevy is simultaneously enticing and estranged. He captures the mundane and utilitarian aspects of life or residual spaces\, which otherwise can go unnoticed. \nThose moments and places are often recorded in his sketch-books as a visual prompter\, adding to a collage of ideas that inform his painting process. Thus\, the reality offered by McGreevy is never fully defined and comes across as a tweaked and twisted version of what we experience. \nThere is a sense of out-of-placeness and incompatibility within the picture plane\, that corresponds with the awkwardness and unease of the subject-matter he depicts. \nMark McGreevy\, Microdosing\, 2016-2019\, Oil on canvas\, artist’s frame\,  50.5 x 41 cm\nA graduate of Ulster University\, Belfast\, McGreevy has previously had exhibitions at RHA\, The Lab Gallery\, Draiocht\, Dublin; The Third Space Gallery\, Belfast; The Crawford Gallery\, Cork and Katzen Art Centre\, Washington\, DC among others. He is currently based in Belfast. \nwww.berlinopticiansdublin.com \n\n\nImage Credit: Courtesy of the artist and Berlin Opticians Gallery\, Dublin \nFeature Image: Mark McGreevy\, Analogue Dog\, 2019\, Oil on canvas\, artist’s frame\, 90 x 120 cm

SUMMARY:Time and Space - John Fitzsimons
DESCRIPTION:Time and Space is an exhibition of new paintings by John Fitzsimons. The works in this exhibition use the infinite possibilities of colour\, line and shape to explore the endlessness and expansiveness of time.\n\nAt the heart of this exhibition\, Fitzsimons presents a new series of paintings formed using quadrilateral motifs. Each painting presents four\, four-sided shapes side by side\, each softly modified through form and colour – the tilt of a line from left to right\, the deepening of a hue. These works are generated within a series of set rules devised by the artist – the ends of each quadrilateral can be either perpendicular or slope left or right – but even when working within this fixed set of parameters\, the number of possible paintings this format could generate grows exponentially when adding variable factors such as colour. Those manifested thus represent only a select few of the possibilities – just as we are inhabiting just a minute section of the infinite cosmic sprawl of time\, and perhaps occupy just one of many possible parallel universes.\n\nAcross other works in the exhibition\, Fitzsimons deepens this exploration into the cosmic realm\, further fragmenting his angular geometric forms to create layered\, optically complex paintings. Rectangles and rhomboids softly glimmer in and out of focus in an array of muted hues in one work\, evoking the flickering of a light. Other paintings feel more radical\, more charged\, in their depiction of spacetime: light speed is rendered as linear shapes zooming upwards\, while wiry trapezoid forms seem to radiate outwards from their angular source in another painting\, crystallising the notion of multiple universes operating in tandem.\n\n\nDevised in electric colour palettes\, the works vary from rhythmic and modular\, to pulsating with a newfound sense of dynamism. The paint itself is applied in thin layers\, minimising the artist’s hand\, and creating a smoother\, more hard-edged spirit. That said\, a newfound depth has been created in some of the works\, which use glazing techniques to achieve a rich\, velvety texture. The dynamic potential of the paintings is further heightened by the application of paint to the sides of the canvases\, adding a three-dimensionality and sculptural quality to the works.” – Rosa Abbott

SUMMARY:Outlier - Neil Dunne
DESCRIPTION:It is worth remembering that while we navigate Level 3 for the moment\, and possibly the foreseeable\, that not everything is closed or online. Commercial galleries remain open and SO Fine Art in the Powerscourt Centre is one of the exemplary examples of an accessible space in terms of welcome and entry price point. It’s played host to artists we have had a keen on eye for some while such as Shane O’Driscoll\, Joby Hickey and Mary O’Connor. And Neil Dunne whose Outlier exhibition sees him present a new body of work. \n \nDunne’s practice is concerned with the methodologies and aesthetic of our urban spaces\, abstracting and referencing the continual visual additions interjected into the landscape. The work presented in Outlier is layered\, complex and fluid\, an evolving take on the pulse which permeates urban existence. \nEnds October 24

SUMMARY:Samuel Laurence Cunnane
DESCRIPTION:The Irish/ French artist Samuel Laurence Cunnane’s new work deals in large part with the idea of the outskirt\, what Brian Dillon refers to as “messy peripheries\, the obscure edges of distinct places\, sidelong glances instead of vivid or picturesque vistas”. \n \nThe work for the most part has been made in the west of Ireland where Cunnane has used the backdrop of pebbledash\, incessant damp\, exotic invasive species and an ominous tone of an environmental threat to depict a world where the empty spaces on the fringes are overlooked\, abandoned and increasingly contested. This idea of the outskirt is not just meant in the physical sense\, such as the outskirt of a town or city\, the outskirt of an economic or administrative zone but also the outskirt of our vision and consciousness. Cunnane’s photographs deal with what is on the periphery of our vision\, the blind spot towards our surroundings and disconnect with the environment\, and the existential unease that arises from such a blind spot. \n \nMany of the works use cinematic techniques\, be it framing\, lighting or even particular ratios as a way of exploring this idea of the ‘landscape’ as pre-existing imagery in our minds inherited and projected upon the exterior world. Cunnane’s work uses analogue photographic techniques\, printed by the artist. Cunnane remains highly connected to the physicality of the production process; in no small part influenced by the increasingly dematerialised nature of contemporary image making and dissemination. \nRuns until October 10

SUMMARY:Ian Davenport & Peter Monaghan
DESCRIPTION:Born in 1966\, Internationally renowned abstract painter Ian Davenport studied at Goldsmiths College alongside notable peers such as Damien Hirst\, Michael Landy\, Gary Hume\, and Sarah Lucas. He graduated in 1988\, and that same year was included in Hirst’s seminal Freeze exhibition—the first gathering of the loose group that would become known as the Young British Artists. \nIan Davenport\, Summer\, 115x113cm\, print edition of 30\, €9\,350. Works by Davenport and Monaghan will be exhibited together in Gormleys Fine Art\, 27 Frederick St South\, Dublin\, from September 10 to September 30.\nMuch of Davenport’s work is made by pouring or dripping paint down an angled surface\, as in the ‘Days Like These’ exhibition at Tate Britain in 2003\, where Davenport created a mural by dripping lines of coloured paint vertically down a wall using a syringe. Other work features paint poured on a flat surface\, relying on the effects of gravity and weight to move colour into abstract compositions. In 1991\, Davenport was nominated for the Turner Prize & in 2002 his work was exhibited in Irish Museum of Modern Art. \nAward-winning artist Peter Monaghan was born in Ireland in 1955 and studied at the National College of Art and Design in the mid-1970s. “My work is the result of disciplined research into the experience of looking – the experience of pure visual sensation and aesthetic pleasure. Simple forms and colours are used in repetition to engage the viewer. It is a dialogue about light\, colour\, movement and illusion; exploring the relationships and contrasts between painted flat surfaces\, protruding spheres\, cubes or geometric shapes. The work aims to evoke a response from the viewer.” \nPeter Monaghan\, Timecoloured\, 80x110cm\, mixed media\, €7\,000. Works by Monaghan and Davenport will be exhibited together in Gormleys Fine Art\, 27 Frederick St South\, Dublin\, from September 10 to September 30.\nMonaghan’s artwork has won national & international recognition including winning the Jim McNaughton Bursary for Commissioned Artists as part of the Business to Arts Awards. His large-scale installations can be seen in prestigious locations such as the V.I.P. SUMMARY:Bharti Kher - A Consummate Joy
DESCRIPTION:Bharti Kher’s oeuvre spans more than two decades and includes paintings\, sculptures and installations. Throughout her practice she has displayed an unwavering relationship with surrealism\, narrative\, and the nature of things. Inspired by a wide range of sources and making practices\, she employs the readymade in wide arc of meaning and transformation. Kher’s works thus appear to move through time\, using reference as a counterpoint and contradiction as a visual tool. Her chimeras\, mythical monsters\, and allegorical tales combine references that are at once topical and traditional\, political and poetic. \nA Consummate Joy comprises new and recent works\, ranging from sculpture\, painting\, installation and watercolours\, and the latest annual edition of a 30-year project which began in 2010\, Virus XI (2020). Now living in New Delhi\, India\, Kher’s use of found objects is informed by her own position as an artist located between geographic and social surroundings. Kher’s way of working is exploratory; surveying\, looking\, collecting and transforming\, as she repositions the viewer’s relationship with the object and initiates a dialogue between metaphysical and material pursuits. \nBharti Kher on the significance of showing her work in Ireland said “Ireland has always been an interest for me in its similarities to ancient Indian history and mythologies; from the worship of pagan goddesses to the practice of oral storytelling and song”.  \nAt the centre of Kher’s practice are her sculptures\, early examples of which featured fantastical hybrid characters\, blurring the distinctions between humans and nature\, ecology and politics. In line with this early practice\, Kher continues to assemble\, juxtapose and transform found objects that are witness to their own histories. \nuntil January 17\, 2021 \n

SUMMARY:New Landscapes From Eugene Conway
DESCRIPTION:A lot of the time they go unnoticed: old sheds\, old walls\, a wet ditch after the summer rain.” – Artist Eugene Conway\n \n“New Landscapes\,” an exhibition of recent works from one of Ireland’s leading realist landscape painters Eugene Conway\, goes on display at Gormleys Fine Art in Dublin from July 4 to 18. \nOriginally from Dublin\, Eugene Conway moved to Kilkenny as a child in the 1960s. Growing up in the countryside\, he developed a great love and appreciation for the beauty of nature and his paintings see the landscape of County Kilkenny brought centre stage. \nConway’s paintings suggest the unfolding of ordinary rural life\, reflecting the layers of history left by habitation and farming. \nEugene Conway\, Stream in Spring\, Oil on Linen\nHis work mostly focuses on farm scenes — old barns nestled amongst the hedgerows beside moss-covered stone walls; while his use of colour relates directly to the weather\, the seasons and the passage of time. His subjects – bridges\, barns and byways – are the unsung heroes of the Irish countryside\, the aspects of the landscape that you notice when you live there. \nThe painter’s work is meticulously observed – the pattern of leaves blown into the side of the road\, the way that clouds are reflected in puddles\, an old gate\, propped beneath a bridge. One image sees the russet ridges of a corrugated barn highlighted against the green of fertilised fields in the moment before rain. In another a farm track\, scored with tractor tyres\, is almost impassable with mud. \nSpeaking about his subject matter\, Conway observes\, “A lot of the time they go unnoticed: old sheds\, old walls\, a wet ditch after the summer rain\, or maybe the way that the light is hitting something\, bringing out a lovely pattern in it.” He adds\, “The light is at a certain point. If you come back an hour later\, everything has changed.” \nEugene Conway\, Green Barn in Snow\, Oil on Linen.\nEugene Conway studied at the National College of Art & Design\, NCAD\, Dublin. Since 1998 he has exhibited regularly at the RHA and was awarded the Fergus O’Ryan Memorial Award in 2001\, the ESB Keating Award\, the Silver Medal for an outstanding art work in 2008\, and the Abdul and Katharine Bulbulia Art in Health Award in 2010. \nThe exhibition of Eugene Conway’s works will be available to view online at www.gormleys.ie\, and in Gormleys Fine Art\, 27 South Frederick St Dublin from July 4 to 18. \nFeature Image: Eugene Conway\, The Red Door\, Oil on Linen \ngormleys.ie

SUMMARY:Exhibition Highlight: The Diceman
DESCRIPTION:Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of his passing this spring comes an appreciation of The Diceman. Thom McGinty was a much beloved Grafton Street character\, intrinsic to the culture of the city and fondly remember by all those who encountered his mime antics during the ‘80s and ‘90s. He brought the street to a halt as onlookers crowded around for a gawk as he stood there impervious to their attention or undertook his ‘Zen walk’. And\, then\, with a wink or a flinch he tumbled their tension into mirth and awe. \nThe late Gay Byrne conducted a sympathetic interview\, with McGinty on The Late Late Show in 1988\, in which he dispelled many of the myths and ignorance which existed at the time about the AIDS virus of which he suffered. He died age 42. This is the most fitting of tributes to one of the city’s most cherished.

SUMMARY:Shane Griffin: Chromatic
DESCRIPTION:As light passes through defective glass\, beams split into colour spectra\, causing “diffraction grating.” This visual phenomenon is captured in a series of beautiful chromatic abstractions by the Irish\, NYC-based\, visual artist and director Shane Griffin. It’s easy to see why he has also licensed his artwork to Apple for their iPhone backgrounds. Besides this\, Griffin has directed title sequences for Unbanned: The Legend Of AJ1 (Air Jordan’s if your street cred is flagging)\, worked for Nike on creating ‘environment and textual elements’ in support of Kanye West’s Yeezy II (The Red Octobers) as well as creating typography for Travis Scott’s ‘Rap Calendar’. He was also made global creative director of Los York Studios in 2018. Chromatic\, his first solo exhibition here\, is a collection of highly covetable large scale prints. (See Griffin’s talk at Offset 2018 here) \nRuns until Friday January 17 (gallery closed December 21 – January 5) \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Exhibition Highlight: Niall Sweeney - I am the Cosmos
DESCRIPTION:Kickstarter in the can with 594 backers pledging €47\,634 towards their new space in Blackpitts. And the flag is foisted over their new home on this opening weekender\, with requisite splendour\, by Niall Sweeney. I am the Cosmos in their new gallery explores dark matter\, space deities and the electromagnetic push-and-pull of the forces that bind us. Featuring a series of eight prints and two silk scarves\, Sweeney says “Silk scarves are sensual\, beautiful things\, but even in conservative circles they can be the one canvas where anything goes\, where play and subversion can roam – they are very egalitarian in this respect. The prints have been inspired by the designs for the scarves\, depicting each of the deities in their natural habitat – the dark – but they also explore the event horizons of desire. There’s more than a hint of Egyptian gods and Japanese Shinto\, of animism and the inherent spirit in all objects\, and\, of course\, the cosmological universal field!”. \nHen’s Teeth\, The Tannery\, Blackpitts; Thursday November 7 until Wednesday December 11. \nPhoto: Dark Matter by Niall Sweeney [silk scarf]

DESCRIPTION:Inspired by organic shapes and natural forms alongside the geometric structures\, visual artist and designer Alice Fitzgerald presents Form Shapes Form\, a series of six dramatic mono-colour prints that use scale and closeness to replace the order of space in an elegant\, playful and direct way. “Through these idiosyncratic\, elemental forms\, I’m looking to strike a certain kind of balance between order and chaos\, with every element part of the whole. For this series\, I gave myself two rules: one colour only\, and all elements must be touching another\, the order of scale and closeness have replaced the order of space in my earlier work.” Each print will have a limited edition run of 20. \n Damn Fine Print\, North Brunswick Street\, D7\, until Friday November 15 \nPhoto: Forms By Alice Fitzgerald

SUMMARY:Linda Brownlee - Idle Typography
DESCRIPTION:Taking her transitions between North Dublin’s suburbs and inner city as the subject matter for this ongoing body of work\, Brownlee highlights the aesthetic promise in the everyday.  Her work delicately explores the intricate energy of the people and places onto which she stumbles. Gently unravelling visual spaces into select abstracted images\, she attempts to organise and disorganise her surroundings. \nThe primary impulse behind this series of wanderings was a desire to confront\, connect\, orientate and occupy. Engaging in close studies\, she moves and follows the aesthetic contours of her surroundings\, reluctant to glamorise her subjects. With a tireless antenna for ambience\, her images amplify the minutiae of found textures and patterns.  \nTopography in this case refers to the arrangement of the natural and artificial physical features of an area.  Curious to how environments inhabit its locals\, her lens studies how people and places are intricately puzzled together. Public spaces often embed underlying barriers; she pushes against the unseen discrimination of circulation through a uniquely female lens. Brownlee collaborated with designer Claire Huss on a concertina which will accompany this exhibition. \nLinda Brownlee’s portrait\, fashion and documentary work has appeared in galleries such as London’s National Portrait Gallery\, Tate Liverpool\, Open Eye Gallery\, the Yinka Shonibare Gallery\, and the Gallery of Photography in Dublin. Her work has appeared regularly in publications such as Dazed & Confused\, British Vogue\, The New York Times\, The Guardian and Telegraph magazines. Linda self-published her first photo book Achill in 2010\, designed by Wayne Daly.  Her project Hydrangea Etc was published by design group AAD in 2014. Most recently\, she collaborated with Aisling Farinella and Workgroup publishing I Zii\, an intimate series which follows the landscape and lives of Farinella’s Sicilian family. \nRuns until end of month. \n \nArtist Talk with special guest on Friday September 20th 6.30pm \n  \n

SUMMARY:Mandy O’Neill - Quiet at the Back
DESCRIPTION:Drawing on themes of youth\, adolescence\, community\, environment and institutions\, Mandy O’Neill has been engaging in the dynamics of school life for over a decade. Prompted by an interest in the transitional states of childhood and adolescence\, over time\, complex questions have surfaced about how important and powerful ideas about having aspirations and access to opportunities can affect children and young people’s expectations. Quiet at the Back draws together previous work Aspiration [2005-2007] Promise [2012-2015]\, Champions Avenue [2017-2019] along with her latest output The Whole Room Went White [2019]. \nUntil Sunday October 27

SUMMARY:Our Celestial Sphere
DESCRIPTION:Capitalist Realism is a term coined by the late theorist Mark Fisher\, as well as the title of his book on the subject\, Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative?\, focusing on the bleak thought of “the widespread sense that not only is capitalism the only viable political and economic system\, but also that it is now impossible even to imagine a coherent alternative to it”. Kerry Guinan’s exhibition at Pallas Projects\, Our Celestial Sphere\, uses the developed methodology of relational socialist realism to try and work a way past that point\, engaging workers and ideas\, critiquing modern capitalism and trying to find a strategy for the future.  It’s on display until Sep 28\, with a panel discussion with Guinan\, artist Ann Ryan and Dr. Kieran Cashell on September 26 at 6pm. \nPhoto:Image: Artists\, detail\, 3 blank 70x70cm canvases signed by the factory workers that made them\nin Daler-Rowney\, Free Industrial Zone\, the Dominican Republic

SUMMARY:Perfection
DESCRIPTION:Some of us strive for it\, some of us even attain it\, but perfection is often a fleeting\, illusive and damaging ideal. Emerging from its sister gallery off-shoot in Melbourne\, Perfection investigates the concept through a typically eclectic variety of informative strands covering philosophy\, ethnicity\, genetics\, cognitive science\, artificial intelligence and consumer psychology. \nThere’s Graham (Patricia Piccinini)\, a neckless creation to show what we would look like if we were to withstand a low speed crash. Meet Orlan\, the French artist known for the radical act of changing her appearance with plastic surgery in the name of art. \nSimilar to the self-portraits of Cindy Sherman\, Orlan uses her face and body as malleable tools for shifting identities. Symbiotic Ones (Jane Sverdrupsen) explores the notion that many couples look similar to one while Morphoteque #15 (Driessens and Verstappen) reflects the human urge for standardisation within food.  \nUntil Sunday October 6

SUMMARY:Full Turn - Shane O'Driscoll & Joby Hickey
DESCRIPTION:A two-hander exhibition by Shane O’Driscoll and Joby Hickey. O’Driscoll is a Cork-based printmaker and visual artist whose silkscreen prints are ubiquitous of late\, forming part of the OPW and National Gallery collection. Employing vibrant colour blocks with curvilinear shapes balanced by white space\, O’Driscoll’s balances contemporary resonances with nostalgic nods across his work. Hickey’s analogue photographic techniques bring a sense of found footage to his work. He utilises a photographic glass plate process\, which requires the photographic material to be coated\, sensitized using silver salts\, exposed and developed within a 15-minute time span. Images of moons\, astronauts and skies form the backbone of his work for Full Turn. \nuntil Thursday October 3
