One day you’re writing a sitcom for Comedy Central USA, the next you’re cutting your own hair.
A mainstay of the Dublin comedy scene, Brian Cheatle is one of up-and-coming faces of Irish comedy. His hilarious new standup special “Overnight Failure” focuses on his personal experiences where, after a lifetime of screwups, he suddenly finds himself middle-aged and struggling to maintain not only his career, but also his sanity.
Brian also hosts “Retro Vision” a monthly movie-themed comedy night in Anseo on Camden Street, where he’s joined by Ireland’s top comedians as they chat about their favourite terrible movies in the country’s last remaining VHS video store.
