Although his output to date is relatively small, Tevo Howard's quality control is second none. With releases on his own Beautiful Granville imprint and Amsterdam's Rush Hour, the Chicago native is deeply seeped in the house traditions of the windy city. His debut release ‘Without Me' was pressed by his own label in 2008, and made quite a splash in Europe. Howard's music is centred on simplicity, but his stripped down approach does nothing to inhibit the beautiful warmth that emanates from his records. ‘Move' the relative newcomer's first release on Rush Hour lays bear his musicality, and mastery of structure. Emotive piano cords lie perfectly intertwined with irrepressible, but subtle acid bass lines. Although, As far as our Internet foraging can tell, the man has only ever done two media interviews; he seems incredibly grounded and shows no signs of buying his own hype. He'll be performing live in the Kennedy's basement with Lerosa on support duty.
