Foo Fighters

Concrete And Gold

[Roswell Records]

Having firmly cemented their status as the world’s most likeable rock band, Foo Fighters return with their ninth studio album and one of their more consistent and focused efforts in recent times.

Concrete and Gold hints at a return to a more dynamic approach, mixing the hard hitting, frenzied cuts with the quieter moments which allow Grohl’s ripened growl to shine.

The band are still guilty of some generic filler for sure, but for the most part Concrete and Gold finds the Foo’s in good form – more interesting than expected.
