Children Under Hoof - A Collar Can Become A Noose

The band of tweakers assembled by Box Social mastermind and general Dublin grand vizier of musical disorientation Gerard Duffy have finally got around to releasing something close to full-length. And it's a tape, obviously. The title track's ramshackle krautrock groove is undeniable and driving, and the somnambulant spoken word of Entropy is hypnotising, but it's probably worth noting that one man's slumping, drugged out brilliance could be construed by another as a little arty.
