Annie Atkins is our most celebrated Welsh settler. She’s just inked a book deal with Phaidon to write about her graphic design for film complete with behind-the-scenes pictures of movies, props, and set pieces.
These films include The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Tudors, Bridge of Spies, The Boxtrolls and Wes Anderson’s forthcoming Isle of Dogs which premieres at the Berlin film festival next month.
She’s also guested on a 99% Invisible podcast off the back of an interview with its host Roman Mars at the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA)’s conference in Minneapolis in the autumn.
