For many the garden comes into its own at this time of year, but with hayfever affecting one in five people in Ireland, there are those for whom it can feel like the ultimate health hazard.
For the 80% of people with asthma who also live with hayfever, it can be more serious – potentially leading to a flare-up of their asthma symptoms and, in some cases, causing an asthma attack.
With this in mind, the Asthma Society has teamed up with Dyson Ireland to help those suffering from asthma and allergies get their green fingers back. They’ve just launched a leaflet crammed full of great practical tips at Bloom 2018 this weekend. It can also be found online here.
