As part of our feature on photographer Eamonn Doyle this month we asked the Dublin based artist to pick five Photographers he admires …

Sergio Larrain

I discovered one of his books a few years ago and then realised Michael Hoppen had quite a few of his vintage prints in the gallery. He was quite a traditional Magnum style photographer from Chile with a great sensibility to his work that I really locked into.

Mirjana Vrbaški

Sara11 001

A stunning portrait photographer from Belgrade best known for her Verses of Emptiness series.

Daragh Soden

I really loved his Young Dubliners series. He’s since gone on to make some really great portrait and fashion work.

Ichirō Kojima

Just one of a multitude of Japanese photographers I could recommend.

Bill Brandt

I came across one of his books in art college and immediately decided to switch from painting to photography!
