In a move that brings a whole new meaning to the term Disco Biscuits, The Cake Cafe are having an afternoon baking demo, chats and lunch with Ralph Rolle, renowned drummer with Nile Rodgers and Chic and owner of The Soul Snacks Cookie Company on Sunday 25th February.

Ralph has always had an interest in baking and in baking cookies, in particular, using family recipes. Back in 1996, Ralph started his own cookie company – The Soul Snacks Cookie Company which has gone on to have branches in The Bronx, New York and The Ginza District of Tokyo. Ralph has also worked with some other world famous acts including Elvis Costello, Chaka Khan and Lady Gaga.

The afternoon will be full of chats, cookie demos and a few Cake Cafe classic recipes. Places are limited as it will be an intimate group of just 15 people where questions can be asked about Ralph’s colourful life while learning about how to make cakes and cookies.

Each guest will enjoy lunch and refreshments including his freshly baked cookies, they will also get to bring home a box of baked goods with them at the end of the afternoon.
