Billed as a new canteen for ‘Mates, Dates and Yadda, Yadda’ the menu at Joe Macken’s recently opened Hey Donna bears the hallmark of French, Moorish and Middle Eastern flavours, with the emphasis firmly on freshness and seasonal availability.
An impressive array of grills including Berber spiced lamb chops and short ribs with red pepper gravy come served family style on a single plate, while garden-inspired dishes feature intriguing combinations like ember-baked beet, sheep yoghurt and fennel with pumpkin seeds.
