Dublin Human Rights Festival

Dublin’s first ever Human Rights Festival is happening this Saturday at Trinity College Dublin’s Science Gallery. The day-long event will feature workshops on resistance, tech-savvy how-to digital security, while also providing fun for kids with Clowns Without Borders where they can hone their circus skills. It’s a combination of visiting activists from risky environments, and well known Dublin groups like National Gay & Lesbian Foundation, Amnesty, etc

The Dublin Human Rights Festival is a celebration of activism and advocacy with human rights activists from around the world. Take part in workshops and panels that range from LGBTI activism, the dangers of defending land rights, cybersecurity for activists, and ripping down the patriarchy.
In full festival spirit, there will be stalls by OhMyDays (who specialize in body printing), Our Table (recipes from the pop-up kitchen run by volunteers in direct provision) and information on human rights volunteering with PBI (Peace Brigades Ireland).
