Odeon Movie Club
From 04 February 2010 to 01 April 2010
In these post-boom and post-Christmas days, the cinema can be quite an expensive commodity. Seeing the new films in the cinema cannot always be affordable. So why not saunter along to the Odeon Bar & Grill and watch the old ones instead?
Following the enormous success of the weekend Family Film Club, the organisers have decided to start an adult film club from Thursday the 4th February onwards. The Odeon will be offering a range of freshly prepared cocktails starting at €5, (So you can keep up with Rick the week they show Casablanca) while also offering their delicious ‘tasting plates' with a pint or glass of wine for just €7.50. Best of all, there is no cover charge on the door but it may be wise to book in advance in order to ensure a seat. For reservations call 01 478 2088 or email hello@odeon.ie
If you ever wanted to see Bogie, Nicholson and Co on the big screen but were just a thought in your parents' mind when the film came out, now is your chance. The season kicks off with Film Noir, followed by Irish Cinema, all shown on the Odeon's Big Screen. There is also a full floor service meaning you don't have to miss a frame of the screening film.
So forget Avatar, instead let the Odeon take you to Casablanca, Chinatown and even, Bruges, with a couple of stop offs in Ireland in the second season.
The Odeon Movie Club kicks off on Thursday, February the 4th at 8pm, at The Odeon Bar & Grill, 57 Harcourt Street. Book early to avoid disappointment.
