It’s feels like it’s been while since we’ve had a hard ass female rock group – a Thunderpussy if you must. Well, it’s time to get swallowed up by this Seattle-based quartet. It’s time for some recalcitrant rock. Touring their self-titled debut with lead track Speed Queen, they are fresh and raucous but not afraid of mellower moments too such as on Torpedo Love. They’ve supported The Struts, played Sasquatch this summer, signed to a major and been hailed as the favourite new band of Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready. They should be yours too.
