Roadmap: New Visuals

Posted April 1, 2017 in Arts and Culture

While it was the theatre scene which received a much needed shake in 2016, the visual arts scene is witnessing their changing of the guard in 2017.

The Project Arts Centre announced the appointment of Hungarian Lívia Páldi as their Curator of Visual Arts in January, NCAD have announced Professor David Crowley as their Head of School of Visual Culture while the Douglas Hyde Gallery brings Georgina Jackson from the Mercer Union in Toronto to take over the fantastic city centre gallery space which once housed debut Irish concerts by Sufjan Stevens and Cat Power.

We’re all eyes.
