Under the Influence, Dominic Hawgood

Under the Influence is an award-winning series that examines the use of exorcism within London’s African evangelical churches as well as the merchandising of these contemporary rituals. In his work, Hawgood combines photography with the moving image using CGI and lighting design to create a sensory experience that avoids the formal theatricality of traditional photography.

The second stage of the project will be on show at this year’s PhotoIreland festival.
