“There was nothing else on,” explains Donal Dineen in terms of why No Disco became such a seminal TV music show.
It shone a sonic spotlight on the alternative sounds from our land and distant shores and is held in reverence by the kids of the ‘90s.
As part of the St Partick’s Festival, they will host a special preview of their second episode where they travelled to New York with a ‘special guest’ and recorded material with composer Nico Mulhy as well as catching up with comedian Maeve Higgins.
